Strawberry Basil Mojito

I love a great summer cocktail and I know you do, too! This Strawberry Basil Mojito is one of the best and you’ll definitely enjoy it as much as we do.

To make this cocktail I start with the freshest strawberries I can possibly find. This usually means going to the farmer’s market or one of our local farmstand markets to get the berries that are truly red all the way through. Then I pluck some fresh basil from the plant in our garden.

I like to make my own simple syrup rather than buying the bottles at the store because I think it tastes better. But, do whatever is easiest for you.

When everything is procured bring it together and make the cocktail as instructed. You want the berries and basil to be nice and muddled so you really experience the full expression of their flavor. Then, pour it into your most beautiful glassware and enjoy! Cheers!
