As you can tell, I’m on a tear with egg recipes these days. These Spicy Sriracha Bacon Deviled Eggs are the latest in a streak of delicious deviled egg recipes. Why? Because deviled eggs are universally beloved and there are so many good ways to make them, I felt it was time to share all the adaptations I have! Deviled eggs are really popular menu items at almost every party I cater. Everyone likes them on the menu because they never seem to go out of style. (I can’t say that about most foods!)  They’re never peak trendy, but never unpopular either.

Today’s adaptation has become a real hit with clients in recent years. They feature sriracha and bacon, two ingredients I’ve worked with a lot more over the past decade. The bacon crumble adds a nice amount of salt and crunch, while the Sriracha provides just the right amount of heat. I’ll be quick to remind you that you can adjust the amount of Sriracha you want depending on the level of spice you are seeking. If you double it be prepared with a glass of water on hand. Some people love it this way!

I’ve had some catering clients dial back the sriracha because they’re being mindful of the level of heat their guests can tolerate. It really is up to you. We love to make these for dinner parties with friends and even holidays. They are always a crowd pleaser; I never have an egg platter with any eggs left on it at the end of the evening.

I hope you enjoy these Spicy Sriracha Bacon Deviled Eggs like we do. If you’re interested in more variations simply use the search feature on my website and type in “deviled eggs.” You’ll find many more delicious ways to make them. Enjoy!

A smoky, spicy twist on deviled eggs. You’ll love the crispy bacon crunch!

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs (hard-boiled and peeled)

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 2 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.

  2. Use a food processor to mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Sriracha, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. Fill the egg whites with the mixture using a spoon or piping bag.

  4. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and green onions on top.

  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
