Lobster Roll Bread Kone

Nothing screams summer in New England like a lobster roll! I know there are two sides to this, but we prefer ours made with melted butter instead of mayonnaise. To each their own, if you want to use mayo in this recipe it will work just as well.

I start with a pre-cooked lobster tail that I typically buy. However, this can also be made with any lobster you have leftover from dinner or a restaurant.

Then, I toss it with melted butter and add it to the bread kone and top it with some chives. It’s so simple!

This might be your new favorite way to serve a lobster roll. Be sure to have salty french fries to serve on the side!

Lobster Roll Bread Kone

You know what’s better than a buttery lobster roll? A buttery lobster bread kone! It’s all the deliciousness without the risk of any dripping.

  • 1 cooked lobster tail

  • 1 stick of salted butter

  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped chives

  • 2 bread kones

  1. Chop the cooked lobster into bite size pieces.

  1. Melt the butter in a large bowl and toss the lobster in it.

  1. Divide the buttered lobster between two bread kones and top each one with some finely chopped chives.
