Today I’m sharing how to put together a delicious Halloween Grazing Board. It seemed really fun to make this time of year since we’re always looking for new ways to entertain in October. Grazing boards are super popular and you can’t go wrong giving one a holiday theme to match the season. I love making up new ways to present them and my kids begged me to do Halloween, so here we go!
As you’d expect, we like to use lots of orange and decorate with pumpkins in the fall. To that end, I make our grazing board look a lot like fall with pretty autumnal colors and some Halloween candy scattered throughout. If you want, you can use decorative leaves, pretty orange candy dishes, or even carve mini pumpkins to go more in-depth with the color scheme. Have fun with it!
The nice thing about grazing boards is once you get the hang of them you can swap out whatever cheeses, meats, or nibbles you want for something else you’d prefer. The key is sticking to the proper ratios so the board is nice and full. You want it to look abundant and have a good variety of flavors so there’s a good selection for your guests.
Watch this episode carefully if you’re new to making grazing boards. It will teach you everything you need to know so you have an easy time putting one together. Once you get started with these, you’ll be able to make them for all kinds of holidays and parties. They can be festive and fun at any time of the year. Be sure to start with a board that’s clean and food safe. Or, you can use a piece of butcher paper on a table, it works just as well.
Have a wonderful Halloween season and we hope you enjoy your grazing board!
