Today I have a quick recipe for you. Cranberry Salsa with Jalapeños and Lime is such a great treat for fall. It’s unexpected, it’s bright, and it goes with just about everything. I think there should be salsas for every season and this is definitely the one I reserve for fall and the holidays.
What makes this so special is, of course, the cranberry base. There’s no better time for cranberries than in the fall. Then I add diced jalapeño peppers and a squeeze of lime to give this is a fiesty heat that works with everything from pork and chicken, to tortilla chips and cheesy quesadillas.
When I’m serving this as a dip, I put it in a bowl surrounded by tortilla chips or triangles of fresh cheese quesadillas. When I’m serving it as a condiment, I like to have it in a small dish with a spoon so people can pass it around and serve themselves.

Cranberry Salsa with Jalapeños and Lime
I think there should be salsas for all seasons! This one has a nice fall flavor and just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños and dash of lime.
Ingredients:
1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
1-2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 red onion, finely diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp pepper
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse the cranberries until roughly chopped.
Transfer to a bowl and add jalapeños, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper.
Stir to combine and adjust seasoning as needed.
Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve with tortilla chips or as a zesty topping for turkey or other main dishes.
