If you’re in the mood for a fun, easy cocktail I recommend this Cherry Lime Vodka Fizz. It’s the perfect summer sipper because you can literally make it right in the glass. There’s no need for cocktail shakers or any other implements. At the end of the day that kind of ease is exactly what’s called for when you really just want to lounge.
I love how the cherry soda adds just the right sweet touch to the drink. Cherry is one of my favorite summer flavors and this soda is the best!
The garnishes add a lovely, playful touch to cap it off. If this becomes really popular in your backyard you can always multiply the quantities here and make a pitcher’s worth so people can just help themselves.

Cherry Lime Vodka Fizz
This cocktail is a really fun and easy to whip up on warm summer nights. The cherry soda with a twist of lime gives it a lovely sweet touch that makes it perfectly sippable and refreshing.
Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz vodka
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
4-6 oz sour cherry soda
Lime wedge, for garnish
Maraschino cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a glass with ice cubes.
Add vodka, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the glass and stir well to combine.
Top with sour cherry soda, leaving some room at the top.
Garnish with a lime wedge and a maraschino cherry.
Use a stirrer to give it a gentle stir before serving.
