Cheeseburger with Fried Egg Bread Kone

Writer's picture: Nikki GlekasNikki Glekas

This is not just any burger, it’s a Cheeseburger Bread Kone with a Fried Egg. I think this is a fun twist on a regular burger because it has a unique, handheld shape and is topped with a fried egg!

You can either make this on the stovetop or grill. I like to cook a little more on the medium to medium-well done side, but you should do what you prefer.

Similarly, when you fry the egg make sure the egg isn’t too runny, you don’t want it burst everywhere when you bite into it.

This is always a hit with the kids because it’s a fresh take on their favorite smashburger. I hope you have fun making this for everyone this summer!

Cheeseburger Fried Egg Bread Kone

This is a fun new way to serve a cheeseburger. I like to make it extra yummy and add a fried egg on top!

Ingredients:

1 Bread Kones

2 burger patties

Salt & Pepper to season the patties

2 slices of cheese

2 eggs for frying

Instructions:

  1. Season the burger patties with salt and pepper and prepare them on the grill to the doneness of your liking. Add the cheese slices toward the end so they are just melted.

  1. While they are grilling, fry two eggs

  1. Cut the burger patties to fit in the bread kones and top each with a fried egg.
