BLUE CHEESE YOGURT DIP

Updated: Feb 9, 2023

I’m sharing this very brief episode with you today so you can see how to make blue cheese dip with Greek yogurt. I prefer this method because I find Blue Cheese Dip better when it’s made with yogurt than lots of mayonnaise. For one thing, it is a lot tangier. It is also smoother and better for dipping.

I make this a lot to serve with my Greek Chicken Wings ( https://youtu.be/zPYxPbLzUaI ) because it is the best to pair with crispy, juicy chicken. I also use it as a dip for veggies, or thin it out with a little cream to make a yummy salad dressing.

It has so many great uses! I hope you like it and that it becomes a great go-to condiment in your house like it is in mine.

Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dip

This is my personal twist on blue cheese dip. I prefer to use tangy Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. I like to serve this with Greek chicken wings, vegetables, or grilled pita wedges. It’s a great versatile dip that you’ll use for many things!

Makes 1 ½ cups dip

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt

  • 2 Tbsp sour cream

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 8 dashes hot sauce like Tabasco

  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese

  1. In a large bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, sour cream, garlic, onion, salt, Worcestershire sauce.

  2. Melt the butter in a small dish and stir in the hot sauce. Stir this into the Greek yogurt mix.

  3. Fold the crumbled blue cheese into the dip until it is evenly distributed. Serve with wings or crudité
